The guy in the Orange shop told me late Summer, I suppose he means August. I was under the impression O2 would get it first though.

Infuriatingly, last night on the web I saw a hastily snapped photo someone had take of one of the banners at WWDC showing the name 'iPhone HD' and the tagline 'Faster. Smarter. Better', with a small image of what looked a lot like the infamous Gizmodo prototype but in range of colours like the iPod nano. It now seems to have disappeared, possibly due to Apple's legal eagles swooping.

Right now, I'd be prepared to wager a fair sum we'll see such a thing some time within the next four hours.

I'd like to see a rubberised back casing on the new model, maybe as an option for those that like shiny plastic instead.

The iLounge live feed of the WWDC keynoteseems to be running quite well for me - most of the rest seem to be snowed under already.

The iPhone 4G is looking very, very nice indeed. Feeling very glad I held back on the 3GS upgrade. Now just to await pricing in the UK!

The iPhone's got to the point where I want one now.

I'll be preordering mine on the 15th :D

Hopefully they'll be a similar pricing scheme to the current iPhone 3GS.

I wonder what the price will be here? I now have a week to decide what version to get an who to get it with.

Ditto, although I'll wait until my contract is up in August I think.

Details are up on http://www.apple.com now (but not the UK site, as usual). One thing I've spotted - go to http://www.apple.com/iphone/features/mail.html and check out the images at the bottom. 'Open in Keynote'?? On an iPhone?

Update: Actually, it looks really nice in white. Oh if only they'd done a silver one...

I cannot afford it this month, nor probably next month either. This is a cause of much sadness.

Is it going to utilise existing iPhone tariffs?
