My sister is getting a lot of application forms in .pdf format.
Outside of Acrobat, are there any .pdf editors you'd recommend for Vista?
Ta much.

Aren't you meant to print off application forms & fill them in by hand?

It depends on the job

AV Engineers are supposed to fill them in electronically.

I've been filling out loads of applications recently, if the advert says "email your application to.....", then I've just filled in the PDF file and sent it back via email...

If you want to pull the information out of a PDF then we use "Able to Extract" at work as that can pull pdf's into Word, Excel or Powerpoint.

Not free though :( http://www.investintech.com/able2extract.html

Same here.

I did have one company who asked me to post my application though, so I filled that one in by hand.

Thanks all.
A lot of teaching jobs do the 'email your application to', but provide the form as a .pdf.
Not ideal if you're a normal person who hasn't spent hundreds on Acrobat.

The paid for version of Foxit reader has an add on that allows you to edit pdf docs.
It much cheaper than adobe and faster.

The one's my Uni. issue are interactive in Adobe Reader - you can fill the boxes in using Adobe Reader and then print it off.

Not sure about an out-and-out editor, I certainly don't know of a free one.
