Did SCO ever get round to showing which bits of their code they thought were pinched?

That is a different case (against IBM). In this case, Novell basically told SCO to shut up, because they didn't buy the rights to UNIX from them, which has been proven.

That might upset Microsoft. They were funding SCO for a while as a way of stopping businesses switching to Linux because of the possible large payments that could ensue if SCO won. Though now that this is settled will many switch or has Windows 7 arrived in time to save Microsoft's bacon?

Yes and if it slowed the migration to linux then it served its purpose.
