Why FM radio when you have spotify? Though all those other features do look very appealing.

I would rather like a TMS app. But then I'd need an interweb connection, and at work I don't have one

Because that's one of those "features" that naysayers claim is missing from the iPhone.

The radio apps use data and since O2 along with all the operators and OFCOM have decided unlimited actually has a value people might not want to use up chunks of there data allowance.

Yes but as far as I a concerned it is pretty much complete. I plan to buy one and hold on to it for a few years at least. My current phone cost £500 new but can be sold on the recycling market for less than £6. So I am keeping it as a back up phone. Are these missing features really just "would like" features. I can understand cut and paste but that is there now.

But not the emergancy Pizza number option Though what would be very nice is the ability to save to the iPhones memeory direct, whilst suring without having a third party app.

My iPhone is really an iPod with a phone app built in. To be honest, I use it more as a portable pocket email/twitter/web client/camera etc. than as a phone. I use it far, far more than any of my previous mobile phones which were just phones with a spatter of functionality around the edges. I like what I have read about the iPhone 4, but my current iPhone is just over a year old, so I’m not really wanting to change it right now. I know that iPhone 5 is a year away, and that may be more of a prospect. I look forward to the stereoscopic camera that Heather mentioned.

I am the same Paul - my iPhone is primarily an Internet/gaming/music device.
All my previous phones had been just that - phones. The odd game of snake was as good as it got.

I laughed when I first saw the stereoscopic camera comment but having seen the E3 footage of the (glasses free) Nintendo 3DS I imagine that wouldn't be a bad thing for the next iPhone (or maybe the one after). Not only would you be able to take stereoscopic pics but you would be able to see them in full 3D on the device itself! Also games with full 3D. Maybe an upgrade option for the future. I think the 3DS will be a good test case. It has certainly put Nintendo back at the top of the handheld gaming market for technology if not for market share.
