I posted ages ago how my pc keeps freezing and artifacting when I play relativly graphic intense games on low settings, I can play Live for speed fine but I try operation flashpoint or any other game other than LFS and it just artifacts and I cant do anything but reset pc  I bought a 9800GT with duel core CPU and a new motherboard to solve this problem ages ago but it still kept doing it, my monitor is fairly new aswell. so as I ruled out everything but the PSU I bought another one today 750W one, tried operation flashpoint again and within 7 seconds in the !"£$%^ thing froze and artifacted yet again  wtf is wrong with my pc?

Oh man, that really sucks i cant believe it does that  maybe its not a hardware fault at all and its the damn software? what about the drivers, are they all up to date? how about heat too - heat can stop even the best hardware in its tracks

I tried updating the drivers, uninstalled the old ones and installed the new but then it went to "completion" too fast and said to try another time as its not complete or something about it hasnt been modified??? what does this mean, I havn't installed nvidea drivers in ages and not sure if theres a new way of installing them? really frustrating :( when I removed old drivers too it stopped my internet connection from working

Can you list all the parts in the PC with the brands/models.
Is the PSU a good one (i.e. cost more than £50, is heavy and is a well known brand)?
Same memory?
Did you do a clean install after the new mobo, cpu & gfx card?

Never heard of that PSU brand. There's a chance it can't actually output what you need.
What sort of artifacting are you getting?

The power demands of the 9800GT are fairly low. If I recall it is a die-shrunk 8800GT, so only needs to draw from the PCI-E socket.

Those screenshots make me think there is a problem with the GPU itself - used to happen to me when I overclocked my 6600GT, but I've seen dots like that on a broken 8800GTS.

What motherboard is it? I've had Nforce motherboards that have stopped working properly after installing the chipset drivers. Its often best to get Windows to sort out the chipset drivers for you. The Nforce drivers usually bundle the network, smbus and a few others in the same installer, where you only really need the network driver...

You could try cooling the gpu more but then damage may be done already.
It could also just be a faulty gpu or gfx ram

You tried running it with the case open?

It could be over heating because of poor air circulation.
