Anyone got a Lowepro Slingshot camera bag?

They look good, but I'm interested in your opinions.

Cheers

I got the Primus Minimus, and I'm quite pleased with it. It was about £50 from Morris Photographic. The side entry is useful, but you'd be some kind of super dextrous being to get the camera back in to it with the bag on your back.
Seen quite a few slingshots in work on tourists, and they strike me as being quite handy, if a little small.

I haven't got a Lowepro slingshot, but I looked at them. Someone here (may have been nick) pointed out that they can get rather heavy over one shoulder. I'm still considering the Slingshot 100 for times when I'm only taking one lens and a few bits and bobs, but that assumes that I know exactly what I'm doing.

I have a Lowepro Fastpack 200 and it isn't half bad, but there is one thing I would note- if I got the same type of bag again, and not another make or model, I would get the Fastpack 250, which has a laptop compartment as well. I wouldn't use it for a laptop, but it would be great for larger items such as reflectors or an A4 notepad as I find that the 200 is very restrictive in that respect.

One more thing- SHOP AROUND. I eventually got the Fastpack 200 for less than £40 delivered and it won't take long to find out how much some sites are selling it for. One was in the region of £90.

Thanks for the replies chaps.
I was looking at Morris Photographic - they seem pretty competitive, and was about to ask if anyone had used them.

I have been looking at both the slingshot 100 and the 200, and I agree the prices vary wildly from site to site.

I'm not too concerned about the weight, I don't have a lot of camera equipment, but I do like the sling system.

I've got one of the early A100's and it was pretty nifty for just the Sony and kit lens. I reckon I could get away with it for one body, battery grip and my 17-40 and 28-135 lenses easy but I have seen examples of one stuffed with body, battery grip, 100-400 lens, second body, grip and kit lens. Don't think they were all joined though

Mine's for sale ;)
