Much better, few more goals needed though.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Which means USA top the group and therefore England play the winners of Germany's group on Sunday. Ulp.

I suspect that the best player on the pitch was actually the Slovenian goalkeeper, he made a fair few very good saves.

No, no no. Feasibly our route to the final could be Germany, Argentina and Portugal in the semis. What better way of getting there than knocking out 3 old footballing enemies! My Aussie mate is holding out hope it'll be Australia in the Final with us. Mind you if Ghana get a draw we'll meet them, they currently top the group. Will be an interesting match to watch tonight. Edit: I have to say James did well, the second half goal mouth was terrible, worse than Wembley, as too did the back 4 especially Terry's determination to try and head the ball 30cm off the ground. And word of the day from Alan Shearer 'toughicult'. Fantastic.

That's better.
At least we looked competitive.

If Ghana get a draw tonight, chances are Germany don't get out of their group!

The match was brilliant - there was hardly any traffic on the motorways and at the usual choke points. Made the journey much more pleasureable.

I really enjoyed watching Terry dive towards the ball like a fish dying on the bank!

I just have to say that the Slovenian goalkeeper had a really good game. A good save from Defoe, Gerrard and a fantastic finger tip save onto the post from Rooney's shot.
Wouldn't be surprised if his agent has a few calls.

Interesting matches tonight. A Ghana draw or win and if Germany aren't knocked out by Serbia winning then we could meet them in the final. Ifs, buts, yada yada
