EA own Bioware don't they? Mass Effect, Dragon Age Origins... Oh and Visceral Games (Dead Space). Quite happy with them TBH.

And a few others - Battlefield Bad Company, Mirror's Edge... EA have been producing a lot of good games via third party studios for a couple of years along with the sports franchises and the Sims production line. And they now have Respawn, who were there best of Infinity Ward... Activision, on the other hand, can go take a jump off a cliff. Jon

I changed it as it's generally the 3rd party devs that pump out the chod
Fifa 20444 Maden 2145 Iron Man 2 Prison Break
etc
They may have good original IPs (mirrors edge, rdr) but they pump out the crap too more than 1st party houses

Poor games are the problem. I have planned to buy two games because I know that they will be good.

I have generally stopped buying games and just rent them instead now and pick up the odd game when it drops in price
Rent MW2, buy RDR/FF13 etc

It takes me so long to complete games these days I can't even justify renting them , and there's many I'd keep anyway

£10 a month for unlimited games, one at a time Can get through 2 a month on shorter games, £5 a game is pretty cheap I generally wait till the games drop in price before getting them though Last game I bought for full retail was GTA4 on launch day, had it reserved etc

I generally buy games second hand for the Xbox360 and from Steam for the PC. The last game I have bought full price is Naughty bear (and that was reduced due to preorder and loyalty points!it should be on the doormat right now!). Most of the time I wait for the price to be reduced, theres no way I will fork out £50 for a new game!

I have paid full price for a couple of games but most I get second hand off eBay or Amazon for much less. £50 is a stupid price. I might have to pay around £30 to £35 for a new mac game but I buy very few of those anyway.
