Not as in, can you use a pen & do joined up writing?
More like can you write tech based news and guides?
Do you want to?
If you've answer at least 2 of the above with the word yes then we need you.

We're looking at getting content on the main site, yes, you heard that right actual content.
Let me know if you're interested and specify what sort of area you'd like to write about.
Be prepared to write a short piece as a test and you'd need to be able to produce at least 1 piece a fortnight if possible.

I'd certainly be up for it. Will have a go at writing something and then I'll see if I think it's good enough.

I simply don't have enough material. There's a couple of bits I've been planning to do for my website, but I've been procrastinating for 5 years now. That's >> two weeks

I'd love to give it a go, but the next two months are about to become very busy, sadly.

I would love to try, not sure what I would write about, but I would certainly like to have a go. I don't know if I'd be too young or 'without experience' to write about some things, but it would be a lot of fun I think.

I'd give it a go but I'm really not sure what I'd write about. If someone were to give me some topics to cover, I'd be happy to write for you.

How long should the test document be and do you have any idea of topics that it would be good to use for it?

Depends if it’s an air brick or not, I suppose.

Well, I’ve written user guides for my own Actions and contributed to Softpress’ documentation in the past. I also write tutorials when I’m not fighting Expressionengine, and I have even been known to produce video tutorials.

Edit: I have also a few tutorials in past issues of MacUser. Here’s the online version: http://www.worldofpaul.com/movies/ It’s quite old now, and there are apps which do the job, but at the time this was pretty much the way to do it.

Whether I could contribute on as fortnightly basis is questionable, and not being a journalist means that I don’t have a steady supply of sources for news etc..

However, I’d be happy to add to a pool of knowledge as work and spare time permits.

I can’t. But I can copy, paste, edit and punctuate. It’s a living.

Would people be able to submit things on a freelance basis? I'd love to contribute, but I can't commit to writing something at least every fortnight.

That would be fine. The main reason I'd like something regular is to keep putting new content on the site, this should give visitors a reason to come back.

samesame. my writing is pretty good (i got "special praise" for my A-Level english langauge pieces), but i have no idea what to write about, and im forgetful as all hell

if we have a discussion thread where people can throw around ideas for pieces for people to do, i could definitely add to that, and maybe take on some of the low-profile stuff that doesnt have to be done for any time soon :)

Anything particular techy? Or is it a case of, if it's got a microchip in it, it'll do? I've got a few alarm clocks around.

But really, I wouldn't mind trying a few times or so really. Would be pretty fun. Anything particular for reviewage? I like that freelance idea to, I doubt I'll have time any time soon to be able to churn out a review every 14 days :)
