I think we should only pick players from the lower leagues from now on.

Absolutely disgusting performance.

Well done R   NEY.

Mind you, apart from David James they've all been fairly poor. Humiliating.

I'm absolutely loving the 5live commentary now-you can hear the disgust in their voices and they are rightly lashing the England players.

Why is it that these players can't perform for their country the same way they perform for their clubs??

Not winning the group was disgraceful, and losing 4-1 to the bloody Germans is just as bad. They've lost their spirit and the players are a disgrace. I don't blame the manager at all - these players have performed pretty much the same for Capello as they did for Sven.

Some will say it's because Rooney and Gerrard don't play in their club positions. That said, they all performed sh1te no matter where they played.

I was embarrassed to have that team of ours put out on the pitch with Germany. Well done to them.

I don't think the disallowed goal would have made any difference in the end.

Well, let the inquest begin.

I personally think Capello will be hung out to dry, which is a shame - I don't think it's his fault at the end of the day.

Even if Lampards goal was awarded, so the f*ck what, that's still 4-2.

*Shrug*

That won't stop the tabloids from arguing over it for the next month.

Although he's just been on TV saying that we played well and that it was all because of the disallowed goal.

That's b0ll0cks.

Well I hope so, we need video technology. The argument that it will stop the flow is ridiculous. In Ice Hockey technology lets you know if the puck's over or not, no need to stop play.

Plus, like the guys on the TV said, we saw a slow-mo replay of that goal about 2 seconds after it actually happened. By the time the live feed was back on the game hadn't continued playing yet.

That's the thing though, you don't even need to check the video. In Ice Hockey a frackin hooter goes off and lights flash if it goes over the line.

That was a perfectly fair comment IMO - it was primarlily the media who hyped up the team's chances, most people I knew never thought we would win the cup.

Having said that, I did think we would reach the quarters at least, and likely reach the semi finals.

Of course, we all hoped to beat the krauts - they're our biggest rival afterall. But at the end of the day, it's the players who didn't perform - I dont consider it the managers fault, even thought he will probably take the fall, which is a shame.

He said that reaching the final was the target, and perhaps that was optimistic, but you've always got to be optimisitc, right??
