Yeah, but she'll be in a good mood for other things. ;)

This country's always been [LIFTED] at most sports

We were undefeated for the entire time the tug of war was part of the Olympics!

We're actually pretty good as cricket at the mo. Or maybe the Aussies are just rubbish, not sure :)

And we beat them in the rugby last week (or perhaps the week before - the second game anyway, lets skim over the first ) too.

We should have used the under 21 squad, probably got a lot more spunk........... (That sounds completely wrong sorry  )....

Nah, half of todays German side won the last U21s World Cup beating us 4-0. At least we got 1. :D

Edit: Phew. Argentina v Mexico. I can go back to just enjoying football now.

Just seen Capello's press conference. No questions about the game, no questions about the players, just a bunch of the press trying to trick someone speaking a language he isn't fluent in to say he's going to resign. Disgraceful. Lock the press and the players in the same room and throw away the key.

Ah good, some decent football is on.

Well I am going to be rooting for Mexico, as the underdogs.

I agree about your comments regarding the press conference, although that could just be the way it was edited by the BBC.

When are they (the press) going to darg some senior players out to face the music?Rooney would be top of my list.

He always seems to have disasters at major competitions - last time he got sent off and this time he has done literally nothing.

Probably not, given I was watching it on Sky Sports News. Looks like it really was that bad. The press are desperate for Capello to resign, because that will let their mates the players off the hook.

don't hold your breath. If the press don't suck up to the players, then they won't get fed the exclusives and rumours they fill their columns with. 'Incestuous' is far too polite a word for it.

Bugger. Tevez is yards offside for that goal. Yet another referee shocker.

And they've shown it on the screen in the ground before the game kicked off again! The Mexico players are furious :o

The majority of footballers cheat. No big deal really.

Someone from the crowd is shining a laser pen at the ball at free kicks. What's that about?

Edit: fantastic goal from Tevez. It has to be said, England's players are so far behind the likes of Argentina no manager on Earth is going to make up the difference.
