I can't see this happening, it doesn't make sense no matter how you look at it IMO, and should Avatar-types really be involved?

Why is any IVF free?

Nobody has a 'right' to have children and if mother nature decides that you shouldn't have them then adopt FFS. Either that or pay for it out of your own pocket seeing as it's not a 'health' issue, you're not going to get ill by not having IVF.

When you also factor in the number of kids waiting on adoption / fostering registers, it really shouldn't be provided on the NHS.

Agreed.

However that doesn't work with the govenrment's pyramid scheme.

They shouldn't get it free.
The NHS is the National Health Service, not the National Lifestyle Service.
If you've delayed having children to past the point where you biology lets you have them, tough!
There are more important things for the NHS to spend its money on.

Agreed. If you made the decision to delay then you should have made financial provision as well.

Oh yes. If you put your career first and then decide in your 40s its time to have children then pay for it out of your own bleeding pocket.

I have one little question, coz i dont have an opinion : If you can't afford the IVF, how can you afford to raise the child properly? Children are expensive...

IVF is expensive all at once, children spread the cost somewhat.

What about women who wait to have children suscribe a primary / private health insurance that covers IVF? Or companies offer that insurance?

According to one source, let's say children cost £9k PA. IVF seems to cost about half that. Surely having children is one of the biggest decisions you can make, so you can wait 6 months to save the necessary funds if you have sufficient income streams to provide for a child?

Yes but you put the child out to work down the mines as soon as possible. ;)
