The problem with these bloody super hero films is that the villains are always killed off. In the comics they keep on turning up with more fiendish plans. I was seriously annoyed when Tim Burton killed the Joker. Same thing in the Spiderman films. Why do they do this? If you know that the baddie’s going to die, why bother sitting through 2 hours of CGI messing about?
Mind you, the Joker won’t be back in the new wave of Batman films because the actor selfishly expired, the chump. He could have made stacks doing another film.

True story. Actually killing them is a little unnecessary.

Ah, but by killing off the baddie it means the studios have to come up with something original for the sequels.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

I can't really remember, but didn't Spidey 2 play around with Goblin's death? There was a similar storyline in the comics IIRC... I think a lot of directors don't think ahead when making a film (unlike the studios ironically), and maybe go for the big dramatic ending

Logan Lerman "Almost 100% Locked" As New Spider-Man!http://www.aintitcool.com/node/44605 Purely from my perspective, he couldn't be any worse than Maguire (in all seriousness, it took me ages to even remember his name there)

It's in the movie news thread from a few places (I'd completely forgotten about this thread). Are you a Spidey fan, indifferent...? Personally, I don't really care what they do with the character after that first set of films *shudders*

I like the character and the first film was alright. I wish they'd do something a little less CGI though. Mark

I was just wondering if the fashion for vampires would see Morbius show up at any point now...
