Not really, think of it. The sponsors got them done and if they lost then imagine how much they'd fetch on ebay.

Diego Forlan is player of the tournament apparently. I think that's fair. Typically revisionist pundits want Iniesta because he scored in the final but he did absolutely sod all for all except the last half hour of the tournament.
