It would actually be sensible to discuss this with a change in the assisted suicide laws.

Yup.

TBH I think it pretty selfish of people who don't want relatives to die at home purely out of a sense of it not being comfortable for them (the relatives).

At the end you should be where you want to be ,with who you want to be with and you should decide how/when you want to go. I mean you only do it once.
