How many people know of him (without using the internet)?
How many people like his stuff?

Only that he released "it must be love" and Madness covered it.
IIRC he appeared in their music video.

As soon as I saw his name I had "Something inside so strong..." bounce around my brain. Thanks for that. It's a bit like fluff. I neither like it nor hate it but if it was around me all the time I'd want to hurt someone.

He wrote the Mission Impossible theme, didn't he?
Bam-bamm bam-bam-bam-bamm bam-bam-bam-bamm...
Of course, I mean Lalo Schifrin.

I knew of him. A french singer IIRC. Though not much more than he had a couple of UK hits in the 70's.

Wow. Slack. I though more of the oldies would've known about him and maybe been into it.
His Best Of just arrived at my door after I was introduced to the original (and drastically superior IMO) It Must Be Love, a few weeks ago. Superbly recorded and liking it so far.
