Beats having to drive round an almost full car park, trying to find the one empty space the barrier system thinks there is.

I think that it will also have a higher density of parking as well, the roofs were very low, so you could get far more cars in the same space than previously.

They the same system into Munich about 5 years ago. There, the access is from one of 5 or 6 entrances on different streets around the car park. A little more expensive than a normal car park, but quick and convinient - you don't need to search for a spot, you don't need to remember which level you parked on and you can go to any one of the entrances to pick up your car.

Either it comes out the front or the Mercedes is moved out of the way, to allow the red car out...

1) She lives in Budapest
2) With a Benz like that, it probably belongs to her husband who's off screwing some new bit.

Can't blame her for looking sad really.

As for the parking system, Gerry Anderson came up with it in the 60s.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Good idea, you just need to take something to read while waiting upto 4 minutes to retrieve your car and you have to make sure that when you go to get your token you've taken everything you need out of the car... :D

No doubt some retards will create congestion by trying to park a Range Rover or X5 down there.

What about the elder child who runs out to start the process while his family are still in the car. :D

I bet the computer that controls it would be really good at those '4 by 4 block of squares with one block missing' puzzles.
