Not at all. Pay a not inconsiderable amount for a phone, have it drops calls then brick itself during an update. I'd be wondering how much value I'd gotten.

Not defensive as much as not really happy with someone coming onto this thread who has nothing more to add than a snide remark about another forum member's misfortune. I don't really see that as very admirable.

I think you'll find a long tradition of those sorts of comments ont only on here but on many a forum. I might also like to add that the comment wasnt directed at you either. I dont see Oli having a problem with the comment.

Actually yes

Apart from the fact that the signal drops now and then when I hold it in the "wrong way" it is probably the best mobile device (camera/phone/music player/web browser/etc...) I have ever used.

Despite its flaws I wouldn't take it back as I would then have to settle for something not as good.
