We are, too. Kind of.

The TV is HD ready, we already have a Freesat tuner and enjoy watching the occasional HD broadcast.

Not got a Blu-Ray player yet, but it won't be long. I think a new HD-ready AV amp is needed first.

1No. Xbox Arcade + 1No. Xbox Elite + 1No. PS3 + 1No. 47" 1080p + 2No. 1920x1200 Monitors + 3No. 1920x1080 Laptops = HD House. :D

But it's not enough - and once more I'm toying with the idea of spending some cash. I have to have DTS-HD MA. 8-)

It is good, blurays from the media centre sound even better.

I've suddenly started disliking you. Jealousy is a bugger, ain't it.

I'm using my old Sony 5.1 DTS jobbie. I would like a 7.1 bitsream HDMI uber-daddy amp but I honestly dont know how much I'd tell the difference in my lounge.

We wouldn't either. What we want is HDMI I/O so we can switch the different things easily.

Oh, forgot to mention I picked up a Sony DVD player that upscales to HDMI for £30.

Where's the Sony from? I could do with an upscaling player for the bedroom tbh

I know what you mean about the HDMI I/O. We had a babysitter the other night and I tried to explain to her the steps to put the Blu-Ray player on. In the end I just put it on before I went out!!

I'd love to be able to use the TV as a monitor and run all AV into the one amp. Oh the simple life!
