The obvious point is doing a things in a 'sustainable' way is quite often more expensive than doing them in a non-sustainable way. If you're looking at losing 20% of your budget, being green may not be on the agenda any more.

Well so much for their green agenda. It was only an aspiration if they could not find any other way of ignoring it. So Zac Goldsmith will be useless to them now.
