Apparently it's the same panel in the Dell 30" one

I doubt I’d be able to get a 30" display on my desk. However, there is this which would probably do the job:

http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/dell-st24 ... 7-pdt.html

I’ve got to go “in store” at some time to see the thing in action, but having seen another DEll monitor in action yesterday, I’m kind of warming to the idea of having one.

AFAIK Dell Ultrasharp TFT's have a pretty good reputation. Maybe not quite up there with Eizo, LaCie or NEC's SpectraView's but also a darn sight cheaper as well
