technically it is: bread is toasted, sandwich is assembled, then it goes in the microwave :)

Well I got a D3000 in the end (for the people that helped me out in my thread in the photography forum).

Still need to learn what half the things do >.< but here's what I have so far.

Walking home from work about an hour ago, took these..

And I decided to mess about with my settings.. is it shutter speed or exposure times I altered to get these? Or are they the same thing? >.<

They're the same thing.

Your three primary controls over the exposure are shutter-speed, aperture size and sensor sensitivity (ISO).

I can see why. (8+)
Try experimenting with the height of the camera for this kind of shot. Sometimes it can look really cool (not that this one doesn't) if the light trail is above the point of view.
Still, good shot man. Keep it up.
