Is/was Portillo considered musclebound though? And I wouldn't rule out Arnie cos of the family arrangements...

Yes but consider the rest of government. He is positively He-man in comparison. ;) Arnie does have a reputation for manhandling ladies, but nothing re men.

New owners of Harrods run into a little difficulty when parking outside their shop

On the left is a Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SuperVeloce, worth £350,000. In front of it is a bespoke specification Koenigsegg CCXR, one of only six in the world and worth a staggering £1.2million.

But I bet they were still p*ssed off at having to pay the couple of hundred quid to get the clamps off!

Quite right, that colour's criminal

And besides, they'll be wanting one of the new £1.6m(?) Veyrons anyway ;)

That just goes to show that all the money in the world can't buy good taste.

I mean, Harrods?

Colour is horrible

Whilst supercars are being discussed though I saw in Nottingham on the same day (last Saturday) a Ferarri 599 GTB and Mucielago LP640. Both in sensible colours.

How old is she? what is the usual lifespan for the breed? As long as you make her last few days special for her at least.

She's about 11 years old now and has cancer. (8+(
She had a lump removed about 8 or 9 months ago and it came back.
She wasn't taking too well to the recovery stage and so we decided not to put her through such surgery again, so we knew it was on the cards, but we just expected we'd get another five or six months with her.
We even took her to the vet and he said the same. I think she just took a downward turn this past two weeks.
We don't want to unduly prolong her condition, especially so if she's not handling it so well, which she appears not to be.
This is her (that's a Facebook link but it should be fine to view even if you don't use Fb, as it's a public set).

Well labs can live from 12 to 15 years so has had a good innings but not as long as it could have been. You might as well take these last few days to prepare for the inevitable. Good luck.

:(

Jack is getting on now, and he seems very nervous at the moment, but that might have something to do with me clonking around the house behind him on my crutches
