Vettel was scowling on the podium, and knocking back the champers. :D

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Aye, I normally give him the benefit of doubt for a lot of manouveres but that could have been really nasty. No excuse and I reckon the penalty will be harsh.

I truly hope so he was being pushed right into the wall.

If the wall hadn't come to an end, there may well have been contact. :|

[LIFTED] that was close, Ruben must have only been inches away from hitting the wall
So out of order in so many ways, Michael Schumacher has now piped Alonso imo as the most arrogant [LIFTED] in F1....

Have you seen the video where Rubens sees the Schumacher interview post-race?

Schumacher's clearly looking in his right hand mirror watching and waiting, he knew exactly what he was doing squeezing Ruben against the wall...... if Ruben had hit the wall I hate to think what would have happened to them both.

Schumaker has got a 10-place penalty for the next race...
Schu punished for Barrichello move

...and quite right too! That was one of the scariest moments I've seen in a race for a long time. Could have ended messily. I think it's safe to say that Schuey will be on the back row or thereabouts in Belgium.

A race to forget for Mercedes, they've also been handed a $50,000 fine for Rosberg's flying wheel in the pitlane. I loved this quote from Rosberg...

I saw a replay of a mechanic running across the pit lane to avoid the tyre, narrowly missing both the wheel and a car coming in to the pits.

It was a bit of a miracle, really.

New radio evidence might indicate that Ferrari will have a difficult task convincing the FIA that it did not deploy illegal team orders at Hockenheim.

The famous Italian team will face the governing body's new disciplinary panel in Paris in September, after Felipe Massa moved over for his teammate Fernando Alonso during the German race.

Until now, the only apparent evidence of the imposition of the team order was race engineer Rob Smedley's radio call to his Brazilian driver: "Fernando - is - faster - than - you. Can you confirm you understood that message?"

Smedley later apologized to Massa, telling the 29-year-old he was "very, very magnanimous."

But new radio evidence would seem to reinforce suspicions that the "is faster than you" language was in fact a pre-arranged code that Massa understood as a direct order to pull over.

F1's official website has published a video edit of the German race that depicts Smedley relay a conventional message to Massa about Spaniard Alonso's superior pace.

"You need to pick up the pace, because Fernando is faster," the British engineer is heard to tell Massa.

And another message to Massa during their genuine on-track battle was: "Pretty close here. He's (Alonso) gonna go (through); you're going to have to defend."

It has also been suspected that Alonso requested the team order, after he said "this is ridiculous" while trying to conventionally overtake his teammate.

And he is heard to say during the official video edit: "I am much faster than Felipe."

His engineer Andrea Stella replied: "We got your message, we got your message."

I won't go into the pros or cons of having this rule, but as it stands it appears to be have been broken and therefore punishment is due.

Other teams do it as well, but at least they were more subtle. ;)

When all is said and done if Alonso that much faster then he ought to be able to overtake his teammate. But he cant. Because he's a [LIFTED] Spanish tosser.

I agree with the overtaking part, and tosser. But that could apply to anyone regardless of their nationality.

Now if that arrogant German cock would just lose both his index fingers in a horrific crash, I wouldn't shed a tear. ;)

Yeah, but wouldn't he then be forced to use his fore finger the next time he gets on pole?
