Take it as a compliment. That guy knows his stuff. I managed to lie in until just now, which is a record for me in nearly a year. Very pleased. But hungry....

When you quote people in a post on this forum do you start a newline per quotation? I do to keep things tidy, like thus: I know some users smush everything onto one line. I don't think it's the forum, so it's just their way of tidying things up, like thus: So do you consider readability or compactness to be the major "tidy" factor.

It's caused by people hitting quote then not hitting return to start a new line before typing

Oh ok. Cool. @Soddit: Not a dig, really, I just notice that whenever I quote him I get the 2nd version, and was intrigued as to which people preferred. I can see benefits for both, namely readability vs "reducing the amount of space the existing crap takes up".

It doesn't really matter what you believe, it has no bearing on the truth. (8+) Mark

Truth is what bratty sees with his own eyes, that others do not. Or something.

I'd hope not. I don't much want to have to travel back in time, be born early, and re-live my whole life and then some just to balance the world.

Finished my first day at work All good fun, got to sit in a few train driver cabs. Tomorrow starts at 7:30 and next week I'll be starting at 5:15.... Shattered, want a cuppa and a nice sit down now.

I did the 5am shifts when I worked at the Daily Mail. Luckily it was only 2 days out of every 8 but getting up at 3.30am was hard work! Best of luck to you!
