Finished my first day at work :D

All good fun, got to sit in a few train driver cabs. Tomorrow starts at 7:30 and next week I'll be starting at 5:15....
Shattered, want a cuppa and a nice sit down now.

I did the 5am shifts when I worked at the Daily Mail. Luckily it was only 2 days out of every 8 but getting up at 3.30am was hard work!

Best of luck to you!

My girlfriend works the early shift, most of the time, in the nursing home. That means we get up at 5:30 every day, including every second weekend! I'm used to it now, and it means I get to work for about 07:00, which means I beat the traffic and I get a parking spot...

Oh, that's nice.
I don't see any personal grudges or professional problems arising from that at all.

So much for the 'Personal' part of that. Now there's a lump of BS I hated having to do in school. :x

Our bonuses are based on it, and it's linked to our promotion and talent bank systems so in our case...Yes!!

That sounds like it involves a painful kind of surgery.

Should I really still be working at this time?
Especially as I'm at home.
