Actually … does this include the cost of fuel getting to the supermarket and back, as well as the time cost whilst you are actually in the shop getting all the ingredients and waiting at the till to pay?
I think homemede may lose out on the cost factor.

True, but there's also prep. time and cooking time.

It's like for like in terms of "cost to Edd for takeaway" compared to "cost to Edd for doing it himself". I lose the convenience of the takeaway, so have a bit less time, but it's cheaper.

Okay, that's fine.
In terms of "cost to Mark for takeaway" compared to "cost to Mark for doing it himself" it's actually too close to call. (8+)
