Storm front in Finland two days ago. Or is it Independence Day? Film on YouTube here. See the family in the foreground hurriedly packing up their stuff as the storm heads their way

Top job for today? Speak to Rock Climber Leo Houlding about wetsuits (He's the guy who race-climbed against Jeremy Clarkson in a car on Top Gear)

I'm telling him. He's looking for some open-water suits and we're the best I need some info about him before I decide on a suit though.

Went to see Scott Pilgrim last night, was funny but I`d definitely read reviews before you go in-case you don`t like the style. Should be off to see The Expendables tomorrow night although I haven`t booked the tickets yet.

Some days, do you scan the list of unread posts, here and on other forums, and find you have no interest in reading any of them at all? I have that today. Perhaps I need to start an interesting thread so I don't feel I'm missing something.

I have that quite often, I tend to stick around the same threads for both reading and replying. It's mostly due to time, but also due to subject. I don't bother with any of the sport/computer/TV threads (of which there are a surprising number) and I also don't seem to be in the mood to respond or take part at the moment either. It happens sometimes.

Out of interest, how does one not bother with any of the computer threads on a computer forum? Genuine question. What brought you here in the first place?

Yes, something like that. I'm not a computer person, I don't know much about them and I hardly ever understand some of the things you guys talk about in the threads so rather than worry about it, I just don't go there. I am not one of the people who needs to know how it works, in the case of computer anyway. The fact that it does work is good enough for me. I joined the old place because my Mister (Redeyes) and a few of my friends from the silli plaice told me about the forum, I started reading the threads and getting involved in the social side there. Since then I've made a few cyber-friends here, and I hang around for the conversation, the news and the photography. Howzat?
