I was wondering about that one . If the shielding isn't quite good enough, microwaves push out tons of EM interference. Try putting your phone next to a working microwave, especially a cheap one. I really wouldn't stand next to one waiting for your soup to heat up... Jon

Yes I have two microwaves. With my memory I can forget I am cooking even in the few minutes that it might take. So have one steaming the rice or vegetables and the other cooking or baking the other part. I can now have a meal in six minutes. Because they both come out together then the chances of me forgetting that I have something cooking are reduced.
