Upgraded mine a while ago but I have tons of room anyway because I put all my media on a DLNA server. Shan't be bothered to buy a new one unless this one goes pop.

Got a 250 too, about 200 left on it. Haven't seen a cheaper deal since I managed to pick one up on offer direct from Sony just after Christmas.

Sony's just confirmed two new PS3 models featuring hard disk upgrades.
There were whisperings of the two new hard drive models earlier today, with the 160GB version having been outed on a retail site - but the 320 still little more than vicious rumour.
Expect reductions on the current models, the 250GB PS3 has been tipped for a price slash down to reduced to $299.99 (£192.14).
Both consoles will arrive from September 15. The 320GB model will cost £284.99 and the 160GB £249.99.

I fully expect a price cut of the Xbox 360 as a response. It depends on how a price cut affects sales of its competitors.

Odd, Game have the 160Gb on pre-order for £249.99, that's only £3 less than what I bought the 250Gb version for with Uncharted 2.

Well the Xbox 360 250 Gb has dropped a tenner at Amazon as a result.

Unless they're handing games out like sweeties, the prices I've seen have been far too high and might actually hurt sales I think my 120gb was £225 with Uncharted 2, and that was only cos I effectively had to buy it near Xmas in Sainsburys , but you take my point...

I could be wrong but I think the official RRP for the previous models was £250 (120GB) and £285 (250GB). The new model RRPs are staying the same but you get a little more HDD for the money. As per usual though if you shop around you can find cheaper. For example The Hut had the 250GB console only for £250. I got mine on the otherhand for the £285 RRP but with two games thrown in.

That is true, I forget I'm such a tight git and hang on and on and on to find a bargain.
