Wasn't power delivered by the ADC connector on some older Macs before the finally decided that DVI was a far more useful solution.

Yup. My Cube (and the similar vintage G4 towers) all used a graphics card that had both DVI and ADC connectors. Sadly, only one could be used at a time, though. USB, video and power through one cable.

The keyboard mod reminds me too much of this:

I’ve got a Mac Mini hitched up to my TV which gets used as a media server from time to time.

Only the keyboard mod. is a Mac, which automatically makes it better as it's running OS X. (8+)

:D

Though if someone were to give me a QL, I wouldn’t say no - it would be added to the collection.

I really do like the idea of a Mac in a keyboard with an HDMI socket, or better still the ability to transmit the screen to an HDMI connected receiver.

There could definitely be a small market for such a device, especially for the home user. It is portable and would offer decent screen sizes, depending on what is available in the home. Quite portable as long as you have a HD TV where you are going to.

Wireless HDMI and really good batteries would be cool, but I'd rather have it on a laptop or tablet so I can use it without a TV.

If it's going to stay next to my TV, then my wireless keyboard works brilliantly with my incredibly tiny little PC.

Mine's smaller than yours :D

Oh, and I note that QL lacks the trouser-bulge of the early models. That was soooo funny at the time, unless you'd been waiting for a year on pre-order
