I remember seeing this on the news back when it was done, and thinking what an instant improvement to the area it was. It makes Trafalgar square look that much more attractive, and I'll bet it's much nicer to walk on too.

Perhaps government (be it central and/or local) should be rolling out more green stuff in all of the cities, on a permanent basis.

Now that is cool,I wish that had been done when I was there .
