It is less of a spray issue if you sit down. Plus it does avoid annoying SWMBO if the seat is kept down.

It annoys me when women leave the seat down. I don't want to have to touch something that's covered in fanny juice just because some bloody woman was too damned selfish to put things back the way they found them

Just close the lid (that's what it's there for) after you use it. Then we all have to lift the lid/seat to use it. Simple.

For me it is not an issue but if any women complain put them in a drunk hostel for a week and they will never complain about the seat being left up ever again. In fact that would be lucky to ever find a clean dry seat.

this thread reminds me of a thread made by someone on a military forum I was on in 2004, where people asked if people pee in the bath or not, I thought the thread was a piss take but it was actually a genuine question, rather disgusted how some people actually said "yes I do pee in bath" sick
