A 'Game of the Year' edition of Borderlands will be released on October 12, developer Gearbox Software has confirmed.

The GoTY edition will come with the three previously released DLC expansions, The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot, and The Secret Armory of General Knoxx. You'll also get a code in the box to download the upcoming DLC pack, Claptrap's New Robot Revolution, when it's released in September. More details on that here.

Gearbox is also squeezing in a "full and comprehensive" map of the Borderlands territories, to help you get around its huge world, or just to make your wall look nice.

The GoTY edition will set you back $49.99 on PC and $59.99 on consoles. No UK prices have been confirmed.

Timeline fail ;)

Already got the game + all DLC to date, the underdome is really co-op only but the other 2 are very good and I love the game, can't wait for a sequel :D
