Take-Two chief exec Ben Feder has said Microsoft's Kinect and, more significantly, Sony's Move controllers provide the perfect bridge for kids "raised" on Wii to "graduate" to a HD console.

"What Sony and Microsoft have really done with Kinect and Move -- especially Move, is provide a bridge for guys that are used to playing the Wii system with the wand and bringing them over to a HD system," said Feder at a conference in New York yesterday.

He went on to call the PS3 with Move essentially a Wii HD. "The PlayStation 3 with Move, in my view, is the Wii HD system. I think maybe Mom isn't playing, but the kids are 'graduating,' and Microsoft and Sony have both provided a bridge to bring them over... I believe [Nintendo] raised a generation of kids to play video games that are now growing up and wanting a true HD experience."

Yeah, cos the lack of HD is the real problem with motion-controlled games...

Unless the content justifies spending a lot on the controllers they are going to be disappointed. They also need to consider the costs. Now is a poor time to come out with an expensive add on.
