I'd like to share the cummulative list of casualties from my group's india trip (9people): Stolen : 1 camera, 2 mp3 player 2 USB sticks, 15pds 300 rupees Damaged: 1 mp3 player 1 camera 1 phone Strangely on the massive rampage that saw most of the theft, nobody stole my friends D500

Indeed. I think he got very very lucky more than anything. There a lot of nikon shops in India.

I know, a few days later my mate and I went ofr food and when we came back the security guard was raiding our friends' room. I told the manager, got really angry, and nothing got done about it. I know he has my camera and it's really annoying!
