I'm basicaly gobsmacked "they" allowed this. Great that they did, if they really have.

Will it one day be kill swithched if they change their big apple shaped collective mind?

Get it now then. Apple have pulled apps form the app store many times but, as far as I can remember, pulling apps off people's devices and out of their local copy of iTunes has happened rarely if ever - I can't remember it ever doing so but it may have. I have many apps on my PC that nolonger appear on the app store - a couple of apps that got into trouble when Amazon changed their rules about scraping data from their websites for example. Still there, I could still use them no problem.

They might kill it but I doubt it. It adds features that are not necessary done by Apple software and they allowed Opera so I do not think that they will kill it. I would still get it just in case. ;)
