just found out my SNES and my girlfriends NES still work

trouble is, a lot of the games have gone missing, so we are going to track down some good ones over the net, then have a retro night on friday :D

its strange, playing games on hardware that is older than either of us. knowing that the NES has a good 9 years on us but still works (reasonably) well is quite bizarre. i wish i could bring my N64 too, but thats at my dads house :( still got loads of cool games for it though, Goldeneye:007 and CBFD FTW!!!

I played Goldeneye in a youth hostel in Sao Paulo on a 42" LCD screen, the machine was dodgy though so it was just in black and white, none of the other cartridges would work, I could still remember the map though so obliterated everyone :).

Apparently the Monroes come with bushes. Sorted.

Result.

Just went ahead and ordered a set of poly bushes...

I am not trying to push my beliefs on anyone, and would never do so, but as a Roman Catholic I find this post objectionable, and would request that the image be removed. Thanks.

By the way, what is a pedo? Do you perchance mean paedo?

Possibly, but since the US also insist on pronouncing it as pedd-o-file, they risk confusing it with people who love feet.

Dumb Americans.

Have you been watching the latest "Jame Oliver Saves Us All From Being Fat and Dying" programme? It's highlighted to me just how stupid some Americans are.

They don't say that. They only say "peddofile" as a whole word. Peddo means nothing over there.

Aurora Borealis as seen in Norway.

Anybody here actually seen the Northern Lights at all? It's on my to-do list (somewhere) to see it at least once.

More here.

If I don't get to see it in Norway in 2012 then I'll plan my next trip to Iceland to coincide with it.
