Oh, for the love of…

If this flops, they’ll just charge it against Babylon 5, call it a hit and do a sequel.

That's gonna be my new catch-all for cinematic and televisual flops.

Yogi Bear was always cr@p as a cartoon and this preview looks rubbish too. It reminds me of those live action Scooby Doo films a few years back and upon consulting Wikipedia, I see that Scooby Doo The Movie had a total worldwide gross of $275,650,703, making it the 15th most successful film worldwide of 2002. So there's a big market for this sort of bilge, hence The Smurfs or the upcoming Hong Kong Phooey movie.

Now Deputy Dawg was a different kettle of fish....Vincent van Gopher FTW!

I had to Google that since I'm not that familiar with HKP

Turns out Rosemary has quite a few fans, and yes, if the images are anything to go by, I'd like to see who they'd get for a live action version :o

^^^Oh yes!

But still not enough to entice me to watch any of this crap. They're ruining all of this [LIFTED]. At the very least, keep it a cartoon.

I don't think Hong Kong Phooey is really going to require that much acting skill, do you?

No true but at least get someone with PERSONALITY. Blake is as wet as a fisherman's sock!

I think you're all missing the point here, if it's live action, who's going to play the titular hero (and I'm still talking Hong-Kong Phooey, not Yogi Bear)?

HKP will no doubt be a computer graphic. What I want to know is: will they give Sarge extra short arms?
