Us giving the days names/meaning/significance stops them from being spurious. You renaming Thursday to Colin doesn't mean you'll like that day any more, so where's the point in renaming it? Mark

Because I can. Because I'll find it mildly amusing for a while. Because it can become an in-joke between BB, myself and my friends. Tuesdays will be called The Beach. I can say to friends "See you on The Beach." We'll laugh for a few seconds, and then I'll get bored and go all conventional again. That would explain my dificulty in walking up to campus this morning, although I was fairly certain that was my hip. Maybe it's jealous.
