Possibly.

Funny that I have ringworm on my arm for the first time ever, I'd never heard of it until my aunty (horse expert) told me what it was. Ah, skin infections.

Funny you say that, I think that's what it is/was. Was treating it as such on my back and it seemed to be helping. Then of course my GF found it and started chucking tea tree cream on it which I think locked in moisted and it just spread like wildfire. She feels uber guilty now.

Keep an eye on it, although my immune system is buggered so you'll probably fight it off ok.

My lawn mower died in a catastrophic electrical way half way through cutting the grass.
I guess 5 years isn't too bad from the cheapest mower they had in B&Q at the time (£35 IIRC) but I could have done without having to use a strimmer to finish the job (fun though it was).

people who say good morning and good evening or good afternoon etc fail  how can anyone predict towards another person that it will be a "good" morning etc? :x and you cant say just "morning" either because thats stating the obvious and is therefore patrionising      good morning etc should be banned

It's not a prediction, it's a polite way of either enquiring if you're having a good morning or a way of wishing that you do have a good morning.

Saying morning is a shorthand way of saying good morning.

:)

PS. Night bratty!

The original phrase effectively stated that the person hoped you had a good morning, not that you definitely would.

For that price, I'd just bin it and buy another one that works the way you want it to.

It does do what I need; just not what I'd like.

Even if I had the budget to spend on a more expensive one, there's no saying it would do everything I want - and these things are over £50 in B&Q!

Of course I could build a controller to do exactly what I want, but it would be expensive and would probably look a little naff. I also don't have time, although it would be a fun little project. I'd probably use a PIC and make it programmable through a web interface via WiFi, with just a simple knob on the actual wall box for overide control.

What I need is:

1. Control both heating and cooling circuits with minimum 8Amp continuous rated contacts (tick)
2. Multiple time periods per day (tick)
3. Different times for the weekend (tick)

Then less importantly, what I want is:

4. Different temperatures for different times (fail)
5. Times selectable to the minute rather than the hour (fail)
6. Easily turn-up-and-downable (fail)
7. Predictive timing algorithm to allow for heat exchanger delay, accurately compensating for changing thermal deltas due to environmental conditions (fail)
8. Atomic accuracy and automatic DLS time (partial fail)
9. No batteries to run out (fail)

and probably a few things I could add in firmware later as I thought of them.

You can purchase cordless multi-packs of phones for about the price of a pack of ibuprofen and a bandage ;)

I've done worse though... I put my neck out for a month by looking over my shoulder too quickly, and it still plays up sometimes even a decade later :?

May you heal quickly.

Bad pun not entirely unintentional

Mob, you forgot the <sarcasm></sarcasm> tags.

Obama, straight forward? Intelligent? Not shrouded in trumped posturing? You must one of those getting your news from Comedy Channel.

The man is proving himself to be unintelligent, unable to speak without a teleprompter, devious, posturing, and a Bolshevik criminal to boot. He is a Chicago politician, which means he is not tainted with any positive form of honesty.

I'd be more than happy to give him credit if he did anything useful, but he is just another pretentious parasite who is in over his head.

If you think he's doing a good job... Wait, who did you say you worked for? Islamofascists for Obama?

I've just been watching the "epic fail" episode of Rude Tube. It was very funny.

Discovery don't like to think about mac users. Rolling out new printers to 500 people today and it wasn't until yesterday afternoon someone thinks oh what about the mac users? Of course they can't push out the software so we've had to go round all the users, install the driver then set up the printers manually *sigh*

Still at least I won't be bored today and I get to spend time with the lovely peoples (well the mac users are lovely, not so sure about the PCs users)

And of course its on a day when I have sore knee so not the best day for walkabouts!

I saw the second half. Some cracking clips. Nicola thinks I'm childish and does not see how it was funny.
