Budget cuts by the looks of things. Although Kirk has been whining on his Facebook apparently. I think they had to cut the salary to ensure the second season.

I'm 12 minutes into the first ep and so far it's a mixed bag. Not a gripping as some openers, but worth seeing through. The pre-title sequence was classic JJ and well done, so happy with that. I also always love Michael Giacchino's music, so that's another plus. Ooh and Daniels from the Wire is freakin awesome as the DHS guy.

So a year on and [LIFTED] me! I've just watched what he himself has called the last bit of acting Leonard Nimoy will ever do.
