Banks are sh!te.
Oh yes, mine will happily accept faster payments but it won't do them itself. My money is spending upto 4 days in the banking ether before it'll get to where it's going.

The Digital Switchover is really starting to annoy me.
Switchover round 'ere (Cambridgeshire/East Anglia) is going to happen in March 2011. It says so on the message that appears every time I turn on my TV or DVD/HD recorder on BBC, ITV or C4. Have to push the yellow button to get rid of it. This is going to be seriously annoying by March next year.
I for one do not need 6 months notice!

After 2000+ posts Saspro has kindly pointed out my PM'ing fail in my understanding as to how PMs actually work.
Thankfully no finger pointing or hysterical laughter was involved.

Asus eeepc and updating firefox. Or how to induce someone not quite techy (my wife) to almost destroy it (physically) because there wasnt a user friendly way to update firefox. I was halfway to convincing her to have my laptop and then I would get a new one  but I said I would have a go and stupidly managed to upgrade it.. so really a triple fail all round! _________________Finally joined Flickr

After a week of being on antibiotics and anti hystemine the skin on my face and hands is on the mend.
Win you think? Nah, now I have more antibiotics and streroids to treat my back and arms that are still a frakin nightmare.
I used to have such lovely skin.

On a similar note - I know that the kitchen at Capital Radio doesn't have a deep fat fryer for the same reason. So their chips just aren't what they should be.
