EA and Activision have gone to war on Google in a bid to promote rival shooters Medal of Honor and Call of Duty: Black Ops.
Both of the publishers are trying to divert web users' attention away from their rival's game and to their own using some stealthy Google Ads tactics, TechStockJungle reports.
Type Call of Duty into Google and the first sponsored link on the right hand side of the screen takes you to MedalOfHonor.com, EA's official site for the game.
Meanwhile, if you search for Medal of Honor on YouTube, the first sponsored video is a Call of Duty: Black Ops one from Activision.
EA said today that Medal of Honor is off to a "great" start at retail, while CoD: Black Ops has set pre-order records ahead of its November release.
