The Phorm thing & wiki things are fine, attachments have been disabled for a reason. Attachments take up server space & bandwidth both of which cost money (& more importantly my money).
In order to have attachments I'd need to put big adverts all over the site & I'm sure we all don't want that.
If I happen to win the lottery tonight then I'll enable them

That's a good point and I suppose there are easy ways to host files for free elsewhere so attachments probably aren't that important anyway. Certainly not as important as avoiding "doing a CPC" and having forums broken by ads/ads broken by forums.

Depends if it’s an air brick or not, I suppose.

Can we un-sticky at least one of the logo threads, if not both?

I've seen the ability to post a thread into two different boards. So one thread and two links, which could be handy for gaining a larger audience without posting multiple threads?
For instance I'm drafting a new thread which is really suited to the OpenSource thread, but I will want the knowledge of some of the Mac users, and it would be good to include anyone who frequents the network board...I'd need to post two or three threads and then have to look at all of them for updates...

Possibly? On the OpenSolaris(.org) boards, you can 'cross reference' your thread to a number of other boards.

Do they use IP Board? I know you can do that with IP Board and it works well. Infact, I think it's tons better than PHPbb but let's not get into that!

Any way of getting the "multi-quote" function like you get with vBulletin?

If you hit reply you'll see quote written on the right hand side of the posts before you (in the default theme)

This is a pointless post, just to check the multi quote thing. Wow! That's cool - I'd never seen that before.

Thanks for the heads up, this could be very useful... especially in the "Person Above" thread ;)

:)

Do you not like it Nick? You've got to let us know then. It's no good keeping quiet about these things?

No, they're useless. They have run their course, and we have now chosen a new logo.

Why are they still there?

We're keeping them just to wind you up ;) They'll be gone soon (they're just there until I get all the logos from people for the shop)
