Free Sky Movies Weekend 29th-31st (1 channel)

If you've a Sky or Virgin Media TV subscription, you can get a weekend of free films from Sky Movies. It starts at 6pm on Fri 29 Oct and runs until 6am on Mon 1st Nov (or from 6am Sat 30 Oct for Virgin Media TV customers).

Which films are included?

Movies showing include Bolt, Role Models, Fast & Furious and Confessions of a Shopaholic (see full list below). Check the Sky website for more details.

How do I get it?

* Sky: Tune in to channel 303 (Sky Movies Showcase) and channel 314 (Sky Movies Showcase HD) from 6pm on Fri 29 Oct to 6am on Mon 1st Nov.

* Virgin: Go to channel 403 (Sky Movies Showcase) and channel 433 (Sky Movies Showcase HD) from 6am on Saturday 30th October until 6am on Monday 1st November.Full list of movies:

6pm Race To Witch Mountain
8pm Gran Torino
10pm Role Models
11.45pm Push
1.45am Gran Torino
4.25am Stone Of Destiny

Saturday 30th October

Looks like following on from the Sky Sports freebie weekend movies are next for Sky subscribers who don't have movies.

Channel Sky Movies Showcase and HD 314/303 6pm 29th to 6am 31st.

Says for info check skymovies.com/freeweekend although this errors for me right now.

Interesting, but the only one I'd watch is Coraline. Gran Torino is very good though.

GT's pretty good, but it's not the sort of film I'd watch again really, and it's still fresh in my memory.

Of the other films listed, I've seen them or wouldn't bother, personally :)

I have VM but there is nothing there that would stay up to watch

You would think if they were doing a free weekend they would
- let everyone know (VM hasn't told me, nor have I ahve anyu mailings from sky)
- Have something reasonable on that I might want to watch
