This. I use my phone. I'm never so desperate to know the time that reaching into my pocket for it becomes a chore. Mobiles killed off my alarm clock too.

This seems an appropriate place to ask this - do the clocks go back this weekend?

people who use watches are normal and not "tuned in" I can always tell the time in my head no matter what, I just love seeing the reactions on peoples faces when if a randomer asks the time and I keep eye contact with him and tell him it and hes looking puzzled as I didnt look at any wrist etc,

No. Thankfully it applies to the arms only. Yup and I'm gonna be up early to make use of that extra hour and clean my car! Unless it rains in which case, ZZZzzz zzzzzzzzzz

I think they look puzzled because when you say it's 10 past midnight they're trying to figure out why the sun is shining... It is true though, you do have an internal clock.

I've always found wearing watches at night to be uncomfortable. Mainly because I'm so used to not wearing them.

I consider watches to be an unnecessary, uncomfortable, often impractical and potentially dangerous item of jewellery. I don't really do "fashion accessories". I do have one, but the battery ran out several years ago and I've not changed it.
My mobile has the time on it should I be "out side" shudder and need to know. I rarely leave the house without it, except when I go to the pub because there I do not wish to be disturbed and the very nice staff will tell me when it's time to feck off.
My mobile also wakes me up in the morning with it's 7 day alarm being rather better than any clock I've owned. It also makes a perfectly good mp4 player and an adequate gaming machine and camera. I even read (very short) books on it sometimes.
If I could use it to pay for stuff and as a passport, then I'd never really need to carry anything else except maybe a stick of celery and some flying goggles.

I always wear a watch. It does fell strange when I am out and not wearing it. I have a nice Tag watch that my wife bought me as an engagement present.
