Having worked 9 days out of the last 10, I'm having a quiet one at home. I'm in work again tomorrow afternoon/evening for our Halloween guided tours - spooktacular - and today was incredibly dull. Spent a lot of it looking at sub frame connectors for the Camaro and going 'hmm... want'.

Having spent the last seven days getting up at 6am (I'm not a morning person), I also plan on dong very little, staying up as late as I can and then sleeping a very long time tomorrow.
There may be a film to watch tonight, but if there is I've currently no idea what it will be.

Yeah, I've spent a lot of today looking at PC components

Now that the emmetts have gone home, things will get even more boring. I did go for a scary Eden project thing on Thursday night, which was really good fun. They opened the tropical biome at night and proceed to scare the [LIFTED] out of us in small groups in the pitch dark. Cloaked figures, rain, chainsaws - at one point I had four girls (including the one I brought along) all clinging to me. Result.

I have a feeling this is where I'll end up. Feels a shame to waste my extra hour, but whatcha gonna do. I suppose I could wait up to see if my watch atomic syncs back from DST to GMT at 0200... :geek:

Nothing exciting going on here. Got to get a bit of work done but might find a film to watch. Maybe Vampire Girl vs Frankenstein Girl or perhaps the Halloween remake seeing as it's that time of the year. :|

Edit: It seems I'm going to listen to idiots setting off fireworks this evening.

Given that I slept until midday (which is profoundly unusual for me as I tend to get up by 7am at the latest at weekends), I didn't accomplish much today. Cleaned my bedroom (a feat in itself), did lots of laundry.

I have to do some studying, play COD with friends until say 11pm, then watch a DVD or something. I have to get up tomorrow early to take advantage of the BST->GMT shift and clean the car!

Wow, so everybody else is just as boring as me. I wasn't expecting that.

Got some things coming up over the next few weeks so I don't mind, including a trip to see Armstrong & Miller and then Tim Minchin in December.

TBH I spent six years at uni and the first four or five years going out on a regular basis. It becomes a bit boring and I see the appeal of hanging out with mates rather than just going clubbing or on the lash. However, most of my mates have now settled down and starting families.

Hence, staying in. I spent the last two weekends at car club meets and spent a fair wad of cash too.

Well you know! I just thought you lot were cooler than me, and maybe a bit more "scene". ;)
Glad you have stuff planned, that makes it more worthwhile. The latest pay cheque (as of yesterday) has now made me debt free finally. But now I need a new plan to look forward to!!

Yeah, "going out" does get exceedingly boring, even without several years of uni. However, staying in doesn't improve the situation much IMO. People are the key and when the rest of the people are going out, staying in is gay. Of course, when the rest of the people are having babies/watching X Factor with the mrs, the outcome is the same for me.

What meets have you been to and what have you bought?

Maybe a few years ago

I used to see the insides of pubs/clubs/strangers houses more than I did my own house. It's kind of the other way round now, my body just can't handle it and I'd like to at least have some portion of my memory that works. :D
