What meets have you been to and what have you bought?

There was a rolling road meet where you get to put your car on the rollers and find out how much bhp/torque it's producing. A good way of checking to see if there are any problems and whether the car needs futher tuning.

I've also been to Santa Pod. It was more of a general meet and see what's happening with other club members. The dragstrip wasn't ready until midday, there were a queue of cars waiting since 0900 and there were a lot of Fiats there, some of which decided to leak their fluids on the dragstrip, delaying things further.

Bought some car badges (worth £100 as imported from america), headlight protectors and a car bra.

I'm listening to some Bob Marley, pouring a glass of red wine, keeping an eye on the United score, and probably going to try and beat a platinum player in Starcraft.

Yeah, I'm kinda the same, as I'm going to Egypt in under two weeks, so taking it easy is the order of the day. (8+)

On iPhone at the mo and haven't fitted the bra yet but will put up pics later tonight of another car (same make, model, colour).

Stock 232bhp
Stage 1 Revo 275bhp though I've fiddled with the settings since and it pulls faster, though not dynoed it to find out how much it makes. Should be 280 or so on stage 1.

I've spent the whole evening rewiring my home cinema system after buying a new amp. That's a hell of a lot of wires that there. Now I'm watching the Italian football, and swearing at the lack of a QI repeat.

Noooooooo

Please don't fit a gimp mask to your motor.
If they're not fitted very well, you can end up with rub marks.
