This is not enough, frankly.
I've got [LIFTED] I need to do, and I don't have the income to get me into what I want to be doing.
It's immensely frustrating.

would you ever consider self employment? :(

@ okenobi: ye, ur prob right, still gonna buy it anyway ;)

Oh, I totally am. When am I wrong about TV?

Alex, seriously. You housesharing or what?? I do not understand how you can possibly afford to pay rent, let alone eat or run the beast.

I'm in the double edged sword-like circumstances of living at home.
I wasn't always, but I am now.
So, thankfully, my contributions to my upkeep are minimal. There are other people at work who're technically living below the poverty line as full time educators, and don't have the luxury of a parental umbrella. Qualified Marine Biologists with good degrees, I should point out.
Driving Isabel The IROC's about my only indulgence, and a weekly visit to the pub for a quiz and £5 on Pepsi when I'm there.

Hmmm..... That clearly can't continue indefinitely. What are these things you want to do, that your current employment won't facilitate? Do you wanna stay in the bay? I miss the pub quiz. I used to go to the one in the Borne sometimes, but out here, everything's a billion miles away. Even the village is 30mins walk and I'm not in the clique. Do your parents resent subsidising you? What's the other side of the sword for you?

Tell me about it... I took a pay cut, (about 60%, but might be more - it's too depressing to do the maths) to become a tutor, and unless I can get some more hours to top up my .5 position real soon we're goona be a bit screwed. Thank bod the wife has a full time post.

Well this has given me a laugh today:

This ticket was created via Service Desk On-Line. Hi, I need my screen and keyboard to be cleaned since moving desks and for my tel ext to be changed from **** to ****

If it was up to me I'd send an email with 2 words but my colleagues are a bit kinder than me and are pointing her towards facilities.

I am unable to entertain any kind of refreshment and I don't mean the liquid / edible kind. Heck no, the old F9 button has effed off my laptop.
Any assistence to restore me to some kind of normality - i use the term loosely would be very much appreciated
many thanks
